Musicians Against Homelessness

Project Brief
The project aimed to raise awareness about the growing issue of poverty in the UK, particularly focusing on homelessness in London. As a group, we developed a campaign to promote a charity concert event dedicated to raising funds for those living on the streets. Our goal was to engage the public, highlighting the urgency of the issue while encouraging donations and support. The deliverables included a cohesive set of marketing materials—leaflets, flyers, A1 posters, and a short video—designed to inform the audience about the cause and demonstrate the impact of their contributions.

Concept
The concept was centred around using creative marketing to shed light on the escalating problem of homelessness in London, leveraging a charity concert as the central event. By combining design and statistics, the campaign aimed to create an emotional connection with the audience, encouraging them to take action. The video showcased alarming statistics about the rise in poverty, while the printed materials were strategically designed to drive interest in the event. Together, these efforts were designed to raise awareness and mobilize the public to help address homelessness by attending the concert and donating to the cause.

Solution

Our solution was a multifaceted promotional campaign aimed at effectively communicating the severity of poverty in the UK while promoting a charity concert to raise funds for homeless individuals. We designed visually impactful leaflets, flyers, and A1 posters, each incorporating striking imagery and key statistics about homelessness to engage the audience. Additionally, a short video was created to highlight the increasing rates of poverty and homelessness in London, helping the audience understand the importance of the cause. This comprehensive approach ensured maximum outreach, encouraging people to attend the concert and contribute to alleviating homelessness.
